BEING burgled during the middle of the night is bad enough -but being trapped upstairs while the act takes place just adds insult to injury.
That is exactly what happened to a couple from Pool, when their pub, the Railway Inn at Agar Road, was broken in to during the early hours of the morning.
Landlord Steve Wilby said: "We had a busy Saturday night and didn't get to bed until about 1.30am. The next morning I couldn't believe it when the flat door wouldn't open. I looked down and could see it was wedged."

Police are now appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 08452 777444, quoting reference number 370/05/06/05.
