A 70-YEAR-OLD pensioner out enjoying a midnight stroll with his wife was attacked and injured by a bare chested man.
The assault happened on Saturday night as the couple walked along Foundry Road in Camborne heading towards Pengegon when they were approached by the man who was not wearing a top. He passed them but turned and accused the couple of talking about him. He pushed the 70-year-old man, who lost his balance, fell to the floor and banged his head. He suffered a three-inch cut to his head that required medical stapling.
His attacker is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with short dark hair and wearing dark jeans. He was holding a white shirt.
