A BRIDGWATER doctor, who was sacked from his consultant's job at Musgrove Park Hospital when three female patients accused him of sexual misconduct, has seen his dismissal upheld by an appeal tribunal in London.

Dr Christopher Gillen, who lives in Durleigh Road, made lurid tabloid headlines in February this year, when he was accused of a string of sleazy acts with women patients.

One married 60-year-old woman claimed to have shared a "crude and clumsy" sexual liaison with the 49-year-old in a hotel room, while the other two complained about behaviour they felt inappropriate.
