HAVING very recently visited Hestercombe House and Gardens, may I say "many congratulations" to Philip White for the latest addition of the Heritage Centre, restaurant and shop etc.
After walking around the glorious gardens, where even more work is being undertaken, my mother, daughter and myself enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the restaurant.
I can remember several years ago now, when Mr White undertook this mammoth task, at times using his own finances to bring this dream to reality. Well, now he has done it and should be justly proud of his achievements. Hestercombe is well worth a visit - its beauty is outstanding and so close to Taunton.
