DULVERTON'S first Farmers' Market has been judged a resounding success.
The market, which took place on Friday, attracted a throng of people anxious to buy local Exmoor produce.
Among best sellers were traditionally made bread, local asparagus, lamb, pork, beef and poultry, along with fresh and smoked trout.
Jane Gilbert, Exmoor and Quantock project officer, said the market had boosted trade in the town, and was just what Dulverton needed.
