Hank DeVillers with 13 fours in his 85 held the Wadebridge innings together after the openers Kent and Chapman had been sent back by Caddy and Smitherham.

Wayne Jenkin had figures of 10.3-0-25-2.

Caddy removed DeVillers with a fine return from the outfield to run out the key Wadebridge player, who had stroked 13 fours.
