Fedor Konyukhov, the Falmouth-to-Falmouth round-the-world yatchsman is on the last leg of his 26,000 mile circumnavigation.
Fedor, who left the port last November, is currently off the Azores negotiating the high pressure system. Weather conditions are such that Fedor will pass the west of the archipelago.
The lone sailor has reported that the sea is very calm with a clear blue sky. He seeing a large number of jelly fish and sea turtles. Once his boat passes the Azores, the tough yachtsman will sail the final 1.000 miles home.
