A CLUb record stand between 17-year-olds Craig Slack and Matt Counsell led Huntspill to a massive victory at Taunton on Saturday.
Both scored centuries - the first for each and the first time two Huntspill batsmen have managed the feat it one game. It was a day which saw records tumble.
Counsell managed 104 (10 fours, one six), Slack batted his way to 157 (22 fours, 4 sixes) and the stand was worth 260 out of a total of 353-5.
But Counsell was not finished there, and his spin bowling him landed figures of 6-30 - career best bowling figures too, as Hunstpill bowled Crusaders out for just 84 to secure a record winning margin of 269 runs.
