Chard breezed to their second win in succession thanks to another competent display in the field against Wembdon on Saturday.
Wembdon won the toss and surprisingly decided to bat first. Chard took full advantage and quickly bowled the visitors out for just 116, with Josh Findley (2-25), Mark Tilley (3-24) and skipper Dave Slocombe (4-27) the key wicket takers.
Chard had no problem knocking off the runs as Scott Wells-Burr (42) and Nick Pearce (42no) helped their side to an emphatic eight-wicket victory.
