SUE Kevan, headteacher at St Dubricius First School, Porlock, is set to be whisked into the sky by helicopter today (Thursday) for a bird's eye view of the school to mark her retirement.
Sue, who lives in Minehead and who has been headteacher of the C of E school for 12 years, is standing down after 20 years teaching local children.
Now, it has been revealed that Christopher Blazey, son of retired St Michael's First School, Minehead head Martin Blazey, is to be locum head of St Dubricius next term, alongside current deputy head John Paterson.
