LIKE Miss Compton (Somerset County Gazette, February 11) I, too, have been following the story of the "mystery graffiti artists" with great interest.
In an increasingly apathetic society where we should be encouraging our young people to form their own opinions about politics and society, I find it deeply disturbing to consider the mindsets of the minority attempting to stifle the views of these young artists.
Far from being offensive, this apparent 'vandalism' has been at the heart of a whirlwind of fresh and liberating discussions about the world around us, using uplifting ideas to inspire both thought and action.
MISS J MACIVER, Comeytrowe, Taunton.
