DORMICE bred at a special unit in Dulverton are being sent to all corners of the land to multiply.
The small furry rodents, one of Britain's most endangered mammals, are being used to repopulate areas of the country where dormice have died out.
A total of 16 youngsters have been bred at the captive dormouse breeding unit in its first year.
