CABBIES are mourning the death of one of Minehead's best loved drivers.
Richard Griffiths, 60, described as the 'king pin' of the town's only taxi firm catering for wheelchair-bound people, was found dead at his home in Hayfield Road on Saturday.
Paying tribute to his father, son and co-driver Keith, 37, said: "He was the top dog on the Minehead rank.
"Anyone with a problem went to him first."
He said his father had been suffering from depression since he lost a leg in a gardening accident at the age of 15.
