Local amateur golf star Lee Corfield swapped the balmy sunshine of California for the more humid warmth of Georgia this week as he prepared for his first big tournament of the year.
The 22-year-old Burnham & Berrow member, from Brent Knoll, is one of five members of the England Elite Squad who have been invited to play in the Biennial Jones Cup over the Ocean Forest Course at Sea Island, in the Deep South of the USA.
