MILVERTON Traffic Action group is trying to raise £1,000 to employ a private roads engineer to look at traffic calming in the village.
The group has decided to take action on its own after talks with Somerset Highways proved fruitless.
They believe that if they gather their own information on what traffic calming measures are needed, and are realistic, they stand a better chance of getting them.
