Ilminster county councillor David Gordon is saying farewell after 12 years representing the town.
In his stint on the council, the Green-thinking LibDem, was a county representative for the Blackdown Hills AONB Partnership for 11 years, one of the masterminds behind Kidzone in Ilminster and last year became Historic Environment Champion.
But he has now decided to turn his hand to other projects and step down from the council.
