A Bridgwater doctor has been hauled before the General Medical Council this week to answer a string of misconduct charges relating to alleged inappropriate and sexual behaviour towards three female patients.
Dr Christopher Gillen, of Durleigh Road, made national tabloid newspaper headlines as lurid allegations of sleazy behaviour and sexual advances are probed at the hearing in Manchester.
The 49-year old is facing 17 charges of serious professional misconduct.
