FA Vase fifth round: Bridgwater Town 0, AFC Sudbury 4
Oh what a pity! As the wind huffed and puffed, Town fluffed their lines and their seventh Vase tie of the season on Saturday was their last.
The capricious wind spoiled what was set up to be a classic cup tie and at times mocked two talented sets of players. Once you had launched a pass, you had very little idea about where it would end up.
One can only imaging that they are more used to it over in Suffolk, because there is no doubt that Sudbury coped much better with the conditions and that is why they are heading for their third consecutive final.
