A MEMBER of the public reported a man acting suspiciously at the top of the Theatre Royal car park in Plymouth this week.
Police attended the scene and found a 28-year-old man sat on the edge threatening suicide. Ambulance and Fire services were put on standby.
Police officers engaged the man in conversation and it became apparent that the threat to jump was real.
Negotiators were called and at approximately 0150 hours the man was successfully talked out of his threat.
