WHAT an enthralling game this was on Saturday, in spite of the appalling weather conditions.
Town are entitled to feel a bit aggrieved, as they let slip leads of 2-0 and 3-2, but in all fairness, Liskeard deserved a draw after extra time.
Both teams earned huge credit for the way that they tackled this important fixture, worth £1,000 to the winners. In horribly cold, wet and strength-sapping conditions, the effort and entertainment was unremitting and a well-refereed game was played in a healthy spirit.
