TAUNTON'S dogs will this week be able to show mutts from other parts of the country a clean pair of heels - and a clean just about everything else.
The pampered pets will have the chance to get spruced up as part of the town's first charity doggy bathathon.
All the cash raised from the pet scrub up at Pets at Home, at Priory Field retail park, will go to the Dogs for the Disabled charity.
The stunt is being staged by Georgette Harries, who is taking along her friend's Great Dane, Claude, for a mobile hydrobath.
Pooches attending will be given the full works - a coat brush, nail trim, relaxing hydrobath, an ears and eyes clean and a blow dry, finishing with their dog deodorant and a free doggy treat.
To give your dog the chance to look and smell fantastic, call Freephone 08000-933522 - appointments between 10am and 5pm will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
