REDRUTH carnival is back on track and should be resurrected in 2005. The ever-popular carnival had to be cancelled last year because a new organiser had to be found and with such short notice, only a few people returned entry forms.
Because it will take several months to organise, it has been suggested that the carnival take place on Sunday, August 7, 2005, on the evening of the Redruth Fun Day.
A preliminary meeting of interested parties and prospective volunteers is scheduled for Monday, December 13 in the lounge of the Penventon Hotel from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm.
