TWO late goals secured a 3-1 victory for Yeovil Town on Saturday against Southend United at Huish Park in the Coca-Cola League Two.
Phil Jevons gave Yeovil a first-half lead, but Southend responded well in the second-half and drew level.
But when Southend skipper Kevin Maher was sent-off with the game having entered the final ten minutes, it was then that Yeovil turned the screw and struck with deadly aplomb.
Defender Scott Guyett stabbed the ball home to regain the lead for the Glovers and then an excellent cross by substitute Kevin Gall enabled Bartosz Tarachulski to dive in and head the ball past the keeper to make it 3-1.
It was Tarachulski's fourth goal in three games and he lapped up the adulation from the fans massed on the Westland Stand terrace.
