CHILDREN in Chard and Ilminster will get the chance to meet some top musicians as well as try their hand at their own performances this week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, members of The London Mozart Players will visit schools as part of the Nestle Music Days workshop, which features performances and hands-on sessions.
The schools are chosen because they are attached to after school clubs which are members of '4 Children', formerly know as the Kids Club Network, which supports out of school childcare organisations.
On Tuesday, musicians Peter Wright, who plays trumpet, and cellist Sarah Butcher, will be at Swanmead Community School, and Greenfylde First School, Ilminster, before heading to Kidzone after school club.
On Wednesday, will be at Redstart, and Manor Court Community primary schools, before going to Chard Neighbourhood Nursery/Schools Out.
