EXCITING times are on the way as West Somerset District Council promises a major jobs, housing, and tourism boost from a range of inter-linked projects.
The council's deputy leader and finance portfolio holder, Cllr Colin Hill said: "A lot of the hard work we have been putting in over a long time is now beginning to come to fruition.
"We are facing some very exciting times in the near future as we start to reap the rewards of the changes we have been introducing, often in the face of misguided criticism.
"As a council, we have been steadily working towards achieving our corporate objectives, which includes creating more and better-paid jobs for people in West Somerset and making sure residents can afford to buy or rent a home of their own.
