LOCAL organisations have rallied round after Williton's St Peter's Pre-School was hit by flooding.
Criminal damage during the weekend of November 5 to 7 caused extensive damage when a hosepipe was jammed through a window and left running.
The damage caused the pre-school to close for a week but, with the support of local organisations, the group has been able to continue its much-needed services for the children and families.
Tropiquaria allowed the pre-school to use their premises on the Tuesday and SureStart West Somerset covered the cost of transport to and from the pre-mises.
Staff from CLOWNS were happy to bring their double-decker playbus in on Wednesday and the head teacher of St Peter's First School also gave permission for the pre-school's morning session on Monday to take place in a classroom.
