NOBODY needs worry about yellow lines killing our village shop. As a bus driver in this part of the county I can honestly say nobody takes any notice of yellow lines, problem solved!
Also, may I add, should anybody worry about parking on yellow lines, park in a bus stop like most drivers do in Truro, as generally most traffic wardens are too busy chatting or sheltering from the rain to bother issuing a ticket. Do I sound cynical? You bet!
Seriously though the problem of illegal parking is a nightmare and anything which helps stop the minority of inconsiderate motorists from parking dangerously and/or inconsiderately has to be a step in the right direction.
