WE hear talk of an integrated transport system, but all it is, is talk! Having spent eight hours travelling on Sunday, October 17, we were left stranded at Truro Station at 8.40pm, as the last Falmouth train had departed three minutes earlier. This is not the first time this has happened, both to fellow travellers and myself.
There was also no staff to be seen at Truro to help 30 people, some visitors and students, to sort out travel arrangements to Falmouth. What impression does this give of Cornwall's train system? We had to find our own way and pay a further bus fare to get into Falmouth. What a welcome this was to the overseas visitors amongst us. When will this shambolic system be sorted?
