MAY I through your letters column bring to the attention of the citizens of Falmouth and district, the arrangements in hand for this year's annual service of remembrance and the two minutes silence.

Remembrance Sunday service will take place on November 14 in Kimberley Park. The parade will assemble at 2.30 pm on the Moor prior to marching to the park. Medals and awards are requested, as are the branch standards and flags of organisation attending the service.

The two-minute silence will be observed on November 15 at 11 am on Prince of Wales pier. Once again, we would request service or ex-service personnel to wear medals and awards as well as parading branch standards and flags.

T Mundy, chairman, Falmouth RBL
