THE Cornwall Rugby Referees Society will be running a Foundation Course at Penryn RFC this Sunday starting at 10.30 am until 4 pm.

Lunch will be included in this basic course, which is free of charge and open to anyone who is interested, but should contact Al Denham on 01326 210880 or alstheref@aol.com so that sufficient training material and catering requirements are correct.

This course is the first phase of the process for a rugby referee to learn and understand the laws of the game, the basic management and safety requirements so that he or she would be able to take charge of youth to adult rugby (subject to them being over 18 years otherwise they would be limited to youth rugby matches).

This fully authenticated RFU course is recognised world wide and on successful completion of the laws exam, all the candidates will receive a RFU Foundation course certificate and a set of playing kit.
