FALMOUTH TOWN 3 RNAS CULDROSE 1
TWO wins in four days has pushed Falmouth Town into second place in the Jolly's Combination League, just five points behind leaders Goonhavern.
Against RNAS Culdrose on Tuesday evening there was little to choose between the sides in what was a scrappy match throughout.
The servicemen relied largely on the long-ball game and eventually it was a tactic that Town drifted into.
The opening half failed to produce any football of real note with the game punctuated by a series of niggling fouls.
The only highlight was Town taking the lead in the 25th minute when a break by Matt Fox and Bobby Bryant saw the latter pull the ball back for Justin Miles to give the goalkeeper no chance with a terrific 25-yard shot.
