A Cornish sailor was electrocuted when the mast of the boat he was pushing touched a high-voltage overhead power cable, an inquest has been told. Peter Holt, 50, died in hospital three days after suffering a huge electric shock at Roadford Lake, near Launceston in July lasst year.
There was a sign warning about the power line but it had been moved to allow the grass to be cut shortly before the incident, a jury at Plymouth Coroner's Court was told.
Mr Holt had worked as a fishing trawler skipper before becoming an electrical engineer in Bodmin.
