A 57-year old man from Exeter was killed yesterday when his car collided with a lamp post.
At around 5.40pm his silver Vauxhall Astra Estate collided with the lamp after leaving the road on the nearside, at the junction of Calthorpe Road and Prince Charles Road, Exeter.
The man, who not yet been named, was from the Beacon Heath area of the city.
There was only one vehicle involved.
