POLICE chiefs in Ilminster have been criticised by town councillors for failing to provide the kind of service higher council taxes should deliver.
At last week's town council meeting, members hit out over police numbers and branded support officers 'invisible'.
They also said that vandalism was rife and called for closed circuit television.
