A Falmouth man has been granted probate to handle the £2 million estate left by the couple killed at their home near Wadebridge almost a year ago.
Mr Nigel Edwards is the brother of Mrs Carol Fisher who, with her husband Graham, was shot dead on Guy Fawkes night last year at the bungalow next to their garage business.
The Fishers ran Perch Garage three miles outside of Wadebridge on the A39. They had been married for 25 years, lived a frugal and reclusive lifestyle and had amassed a fortune.
Mrs Fisher, 53, left an estate worth almost £1.4 million and Mr Fisher's estate has been valued at £858,000.
