THE Keeping an Eye on Chard campaign has been given yet another boost by Chard Baptist Church and The Welcome Bap coffee shop.
Sylvia Banks, manageress of the shop, and the Rev Warwick Lydiate, Minister of the church, have generously pledged £250 to the campaign.
The Welcome Bap is a non-profit making organisation that runs in close collaboration with the church and the money for the CCTV came from church funds.
Mr Lydiate said: "It will be a major contribution to the security and well-being of the town."
