THE total raised for the Somerset County Gazette's 'Cash for Cancer Relief' campaign now stands at £250,456.
The County Gazette has teamed up with charity Macmillan Cancer Relief to run the 'Cash for Cancer Relief' campaign to raise £485,000 to improve the lives of hundreds of people living with cancer.
The money will help Macmillan in Somerset, which provides a range of services and care for cancer sufferers and their families.
Money will be used to appoint four new cancer specialists at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton.
