I wish that those worthies who use the press would get their facts right before putting pen to paper. Coun Tommy Bray has boobed in his assertion that HMS Scylla was a battleship.
For the record the Scylla, as she is known since de-commissioning, was a Leander Class Frigate. Our last surviving battleship, HMS Vanguard, was broken up in 1960.
She had a deep load displacement of 51,420t and was equipped with a main armament of 8 no 15-inch guns. Not to be easily mistaken for HMS Scylla.
