It seems that Falmouth residents will not have their parcels delivered to them by the Post Office but will have to collect them from the local sorting office. Are we to be compensated for doing work that the Post Office has been paid to do?

I am a pensioner and do not have a car so will I be paid for a taxi to collect a parcel? The sender has paid to have the parcel delivered to the addressee. If the Post Office does not do so it is at best a breach of contract or at worst obtaining money by false pretences isn't it?
