A WELL known Truro pub has re-opened its doors after 12 weeks closure for refurbishment. The "new look" for the County Arms is the latest such project by the family run St Austell Brewery to one of their licensed properties. A new bar, together with additional seating in the food area, has opened up the interior and there is also a wooden outdoor "deck" area with views over the valley beyond. Managers are Martin and Fran Hitchcock who since re-opening together with their team, have been kept on their toes with regulars returning. Fran said: "The pub is looking fantastic and we're delighted with the refurbishment. "We're feeling very positive and are sure it will attract a lot of visitors this summer. "The new deck out at the back, overlooking the valley is a great place to sit and enjoy a pint and one of our giant platters!"
