The Passenger Boat Princessa, owned and operated by Falmouth Pleasure Cruises, went back into action last week after her winter refit.

While laid up at Martin Heard's yard in Mylor the vessel had new super structure installed forward of the main saloon to support her new raised wheelhouse and provide additional passenger space on the top deck. As well as this work she has had her usual lick of paint, engine and system servicing and a new set of cushioned seats.

The Princessa runs pleasure trips daily from Falmouth's Prince of Wales Pier up the River and across to the Helford.

John Pill, skipper of the Princessa said: "It took a great deal of hard work and quite a bit of money but we are happy with the result."

Falmouth Pleasure Cruises is one of the latest partners to join the Fal River Links Project, a joint marketing initiative that sees independent operators working together for a common cause.
