An emotional appeal has been made on behalf of a Falmouth resident whose house was burgled and irreplaceable items stolen in the raid.
Police are seeking information on behalf of the victim, Mr Alan Gosling, after his home, in Frankin Close, was burgled last Wednesday.
A brass carriage clock was stolen. It was engraved with the inscription: "In appreciation of a great friendship, Alan Gosling from Michael Donald - 1989."
Other items were taken but police have described the carriage clock as having "great sentimental value."
Anyone with information about the burglary or the possible whereabouts of the stolen items is urged to call 08452 777 444 and ask for PC Jones at Falmouth, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
