Two streets in Plymouth have been fenced off with huge metal gates in a bid to cut crime.
Residents in Keyham and Stoke say they have had enough of burglaries and fly-tipping in their back lanes.
The gates have been put up by Plymouth City Council, in liaison with police the fire service.
