IT is that time of the year when the Yeovil Express is asking you -- the readers -- to once again vote for your Yeovil Town FC player of the season.

Although play-off aspirations are still very much 'up in the air' the 2003-04 season has been one to remember for the Glovers.

It has been the club's first-ever in the Football League and the Glovers have also enjoyed another memorable FA Cup run where they came up against the Premiership giants of Liverpool.

But who do you think has been Yeovil's most consistent player of the campaign?

Could it be midfield maestro Gavin Williams? Could it be the ever-dependable Adam Lockwood? Could it be either of the midfield duo of Lee Johnson or Darren Way? Could it be goalkeeper Chris Weale? Could it be striker Kevin Gall?

We all have our own thoughts on who we think has been Yeovil's best player of the season. But let us know and you could be in line to win a prize.

For everyone who enters we will put their names into a hat to win a programme from Yeovil's last scheduled home game of the season against Hull City on May 1 -- signed by all of the players.

Previous winners of the Yeovil Express poll have been Tony Pennock in 2001, Colin Pluck in 2002 and Darren Way in 2003. But who will win in 2004?

Send us your first and second player-of-the-season selections with your name, address and daytime telephone number to stephen.sowden@countygazette.co.uk
