FANS of Elkie Brooks will get a chance to hear some of her greatest hits performed live for the first time in years when she comes to Truro this month.

Elkie's show at the Hall for Cornwall, on Friday, April 23, will feature many of the singer's best known hits - Pearl's A Singer, Fool If You Think It's Over, Lilac Wine and Sunshine After The Rain.

In addition, Elkie will also be performing some of the songs that she has rested over the last few years, including the much requested Don't Cry Out Loud and her biggest ever hit No More The Fool.

Other songs making a concert comeback include Runaway and another highlight from the Pearl's era, Superstar.

Elkie is also currently busy in the studio - halfway through recording what she describes as 'the album I've wanted to record for years - and the one for which the fans have been waiting years.'

Songs from the forthcoming album, including some storming Blues numbers.

Elkie Brooks is on stage at the Hall for Cornwall from 8pm and tickets, costing £16.50 and £18.50, can be obtained from the Box Office on 01872 262466.
