A WOMAN from Exeter plunged 60 feet from the viaduct on the M5 over the River Exe.
The 37-year-old lady fell from the bridge at around 4.40pm on Tuesday April 13, witnessed by a person walking their dog and a passing police patrol vehicle.
The dog walker and two gentleman working nearby waded into the water and plulled the woman to safety.
Emergency services arrived quickly at the scene, and the woman is currently detained at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, with suspected spinal injuries.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
