MANAGEMENT at Williton's Riverside Packaging remained optimistic this week about the future job security of the workforce.
Managing director Ray Mitchell, whose company made seven workers redundant last week on top of five last month, said the future of the company remained 'bright' despite losing two major orders together worth about £1 million.
Riverside, which makes food and feminine hygiene packaging, employed 85 people last year, but a downturn forced cutbacks reducing headcount to 68.
