A 23-year-old Crewkerne man appeared in court yesterday (Monday) charged with the manslaughter of Sean Cosgrove.
Christopher Rideout, of Rhydderch Way, appeared before Taunton Magistrates following an alleged incident in Market Square, Crewkerne, in the early hours of Saturday morning in which Mr Cosgrove, 34, manager of Hinton St George Football Club, died.
Rideout was bailed on conditions that he stays at an address outside of Somerset and that he reports daily to police and does not contact witnesses.
The accused is now due to appear before Bristol Crown Court on April 19.
