VOLUNTEERS can learn how to tackle a whole range of community projects at a workshop hosted by Taunton Deane
Council at Ruishton Village Hall on Wednesday, April 28. Moving Parish Projects Forward, funded by Communities First
In Rural Somerset Scheme, will be helpful for anyone working on a scheme that needs the views of local people, for instance a potential village hall project, pre-school, community shop, youth club or recreational facility.
It will include information on and experience of work on community projects and will help groups identify their stakeholders and how to work productively with them.
During the course participants will cover skills such as how to make meetings more effective and how to build a group consensus.
