SOMERSET Rebels' speedway skipper Steve Bishop should make his comeback after a back injury on the Friday after next - as part of a changed 1-7line-up.
But home fans won't see the popular Bristolian's first match in seven weeks. On Friday, July 11, the date pencilled in for his return, the team are away to Arena Essex, then they visit Newcastle two days after that. The new line-up won't be racing at the Oak Tree Arena until Friday, June 18.
Tonight's (Thursday) league match at Swindon is Somerset's 12th of the season, which means that their new, green-sheet averages will apply from Monday.
